The Camera Access Maintenance Shaft is a purpose-designed wastewater access solution developed to provide reliable access for inspection, cleaning and maintenance of sewer infrastructure.
Certified to WSA 137 and appraised by the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA), the CAMS system is designed to meet the operational requirements of modern wastewater networks while providing a practical, durable and easy-to-install alternative to traditional maintenance structures.
The CAMS features a purpose-designed one-piece grey base with optimised internal geometry to promote efficient wastewater flow and improve visibility during inspection and maintenance. The inlet configuration is designed to accommodate rodding, CCTV inspection and maintenance equipment, helping provide clear and practical access through the system.
Supplied as a fully sealed three-piece assembly comprising the base, riser pipe and access cover, the CAMS system is available with either a 2-way or 4-way base configuration to suit a range of sewer layouts and project requirements.
The riser incorporates a smooth internal wall for unobstructed access and a corrugated external wall to provide additional strength and rigidity. Elastomeric ring seals are used between components to provide secure, sealed connections while simplifying installation on site.
The CAMS can also be supplied with an ACA ductile iron concrete infill access cover, available either prefilled or unfilled, allowing the finished cover to integrate neatly with the surrounding surface.
