About the Project:
The NSW Government’s redevelopment of Stadium Australia comprised of its conversion into a permanent rectangular venue with 70,000 seats, moving seats closer to the field of play and updating the stadium to contemporary standards; providing a world class experience for spectators and enhancing NSW’s position as a global and sporting destination.
The design has the improvement of operational efficiencies and incorporation of features into the design of the public areas distinctive to the stadium making it more recognisable and providing it with a unique identity.
How we added value:
This project required large precast stormwater grates to be supplied in a very short time frame. They were all custom made with the concrete encasement required to be 250mm thick to meet the height requirements. All units were bike-safe and fully certified.Â
