Access Covers Australia successfully provided a solution for covering a cable trench that was 3.5m wide x 30m long.

Working alongside the design consultants and our clients, we designed a trafficable system that provided access at all points throughout the 30m trench.

Key features

Ductile iron removable support beams
Ductile iron removable support beams (eliminated the issue of dissimilar metals) ensuring the entire system was manufactured in the same material to avoid corrosion over time
Overcame issues of beam depths along the trench that allowed for a continuous, uniform rebate on all sides
Fully certified product to AS3996:2019
Reduced manufacturing time by 80% compared to the traditional method.
